This report details the implementation of the AxiomSL regulatory reporting and risk management solution at a Global Systemically Important Financial Institution (G-SIFI). Financial institutions (FIs), particularly those with a global presence, are under increased pressure to report exhaustively on risk management, data management and governance practices. These requirements will undoubtedly be exported downstream to smaller firms and/or overseas businesses with systemically vital links to global FIs. Anticipating these downstream effects, firms are making a “maturity journey” toward the best practice of implementing solutions that automate risk data aggregation and reporting, which can ensure the most rapid, flexible and transparent data analysis, validation and auditing to meet global regulatory standards.
